What we have been up to...

I have been SO bad at updating my blog since I have been pregnant but that's all about to change now that I'm done working. My last blog post was from before Halloween so that is where I will start. On Halloween Chad and I headed over to Dixie's house for some yummy food and to see our nieces and nephews all dressed up. They all looked so good :) It made me excited for next year when I have my own little one to dress up. We didn't stay for too long because we wanted to get back home in time to pass out candy. We got home at 7:26, flipped on all of our lights and waited for the kids to start coming. Not one kid came to our house this year :/ so me and Chad were left with a ton of candy. Then to November...November seemed to go by so fast and I don't know why. Chad participated in "No Shave November" but actually didn't shave till like December 7th...he was pretty proud of his beard. My sister Laura had her baby boy Knox Oakley Blue on November 16th, grandbaby number 7 on my side of the family. We painted baby McKinley's room :) now I just need to finish a few projects I have to decorate the room. Thanksgiving with both sides of the family was fun and delicious as ever! The stomach few went around on my side of the family so me and Chad experienced that :/ no fun. Now for December...my favorite month of the year, I just love the holiday spirit and everything that comes with the Christmas season. My baby shower was on December 1st :) and my friends did such an awesome job! The decorations were so cute, the games were fun, and the food was so yummy (a thanks to my mom and sister in law as well for bringing some yummy treats). Chad was joking around a couple of days before the shower saying that it wasn't fair that the mom gets to have a party and open all the presents and the dad doesn't. He was just kidding but I decided it would be fun to rewrap all of the presents so he could open them all. So after the shower me and my sister in law quickly wrap up the presents for him. I think we had more fun watching him open them then he did haha. My sister in law Chanteal had her baby boy Bruce "Bo" Brooks on December 6th, also granbaby number 7 for Chad's side of the family. Our baby will make grandbaby number 8 for both of our parents. One of my best friends Brianna turned 21 on December 9th (which was a Sunday) so on the 7th all of us girls went out for a girls night. We started the night by going to get our toes done, then headed to dinner at Red, White & Brew and we ended the night with some shopping at a few of her favorite stores. It was a lot of fun but I always feel bad going out and leaving Chad at home so it was nice to come home and see him. We have watched Zayden a few times this month and I will probably be watching him full time starting in January. Chad and I have been watching our favorite Christmas movies and we even got hot chocolate and went around looking at lights last week. We have also decorated gingerbread houses and made candy with his family...lots of fun. Chad's brother Rocky and his family came down from Oregon and will be staying here till after Christmas. It was so nice to finally get to see them :) it's been too long! There are a lot of birthdays in November and December between our two families so that has also been keeping us busy. I have been really bad at taking pictures, I haven't taken my camera to any of the family events lately. I will try and get better at that with Christmas coming up but here are a few pictures from my phone.
