New Years Eve

On New Years Eve my family went over to the Riggs' for food, games, and fireworks. While me and Chad were in Utah last forth of July we bought a bunch of fireworks before we came home, so we were excited to light them off! It was a lot of fun watching the kids, they loved them! I'm so glad that our families can get together and have a good time :) I'm looking forward to the new year!

A week with the Blues :)

Every year my sister and her family that live in Utah come down to AZ for a week. They switch off every other year between Thanksgiving and Christmas and this year we got them for Christmas. They got in on the 22nd and stayed 'til Jan. 1st! We love when they come! We play games every night, go shopping, bowling, to the movies, and laugh together. I love when they come, I cherish every minute with them and hate to say goodbye. We are all just waiting 'til the day they move back down here so we get more then one week of fun and games with them. Christmas Morning :)

Around 10:00 on Christmas Eve me and Chad went over to my parents house and stayed up 'til about 2 talking to everyone. We stayed the night and woke up at 6:30 on Christmas to open presents. It's so fun when the Blue's are here and we have the whole family together on Christmas morning. At 9:00 we headed over to Chad's parents house to open presents with everyone there. Chanteal, Bruce and Bristyn had been really sick for a couple of days and had to miss Christmas Eve at Gram and Pop's so it was really nice to see them there. It was so fun laughing and smiling together and watching everyone open presents. I am so lucky to have two amazing and fun families! Around 10:00 we went over to grandma Sue and grandpa Ray's house for a delicious breakfast and more presents with the family. Sue and Ray give the most precious and creative presents...I love them! Christmas morning was so busy that me and Chad went home around noon and took a much needed nap :) Thank you everyone for the best presents and the wonderful time. Christmas is my favorite holiday!
