Lately

I haven't posted in a while but we haven't done too much and haven't taken any pictures. We went to the Riggs Reunion August 1st-4th but I forgot my camera :( We had so much fun though! We love the reunions and wouldn't miss them for the world. Chad's mom Tina took lots of pictures if you want to see them head over to her blog. I started working last Monday which has been nice...getting out of the house for a change. I'm not throwing up anymore...Wooh Hooh!!! I don't feel good when I wake up but I eat and then I feel fine the rest of the day. Chad has been sick since we got back from the reunion :( poor guy. It was just a cough at first but last week he got a sinus infection and hasn't seemed to been able to kick it. We missed out on going to the cabin last weekend but we had a nice date night in instead. I get to take my niece Kendall's six month pictures tomorrow which I am very excited for :) We are hosting a Packard cousin party with my sister Sarah at our house on Thursday...that should be fun! I will try to do better and hopefully I will get some pictures up soon.

12 Weeks

I am 12 weeks now and still really sick :/ I can't wait to get my appetite back and go a day with out throwing up. I'm crossing my fingers that is goes away pretty soon...at least by our trip in September. Well on a happier note we went to our 12 week ultrasound today :) We got an ultrasound at 9 weeks because I was loosing so much weight they wanted to make sure everything was going good. It is so crazy how different and how much bigger the baby has gotten in just three weeks! The ultrasound tech at the doctors office we go to is known for guessing the gender at 12 weeks and being right like 90% or the time. So me and Chad were both really anxiousness to she what she thought the gender was. We are both really hoping for a boy first and she thinks it's a girl. We will still love to have a girl but we are crossing our fingers. Here are just a few pictures from the appointment today :) 

4th of July!

On the 4th of July it had been raining all morning so we didn't even know if we were going to get fireworks. In the afternoon it started to clear up so we headed over to Cody and Krystal's house to play games before heading to AJ high school. I know what you're thinking...AJ? But they have the best firework show I have ever seen. Anyway, we get to their house and play a game of Catan with them, Travis and Nicole...which Cody lost horribly haha. Around 6 we decided to go grabbed dinner and head over to the high school. It wasn't too crowded yet so we got a really good spot on the field. There were lots of little games and activities for kids to do but not much for adults, and we forgot to bring any games with us. Fireworks didn't start until 9 so we had no idea what we were going to do. It started to get cloudy again and it even sprinkled a little bit so at least the weather was nice. Travis's sister Rachel showed up and she was smart enough to bring a card game haha. Jamba Juice was there selling smoothies, even though they were a little more then usual they were still really yummy :) The firework show was really good as usual. There is a picture of all of us and a little 10 second video of the fireworks at the bottom. The next day, after swinging by the yogurt stores, we headed up to the cabin for a fun 4th of July weekend with the family. Everyone else had gone up the day before but we had to stay and take care of the stores for one more day. It was so nice to be up at the cabin and relax and play games. Our cousins Chad and Nacole and their kids came up as well. We had a blast staying up late and playing card games! I miss it already. I didn't take my camera or snap any pictures with my phone :/ but if you take a look at Tina's blog she has some pictures posed. 

It has been a long time since I have posted because I have been busy. Me and Chad found out that I am pregnant! Yes, baby number one is on it's way :) My due date is February 3rd so that makes me 8 1/2 weeks along. We are so excited! My sister Laura is having a boy in November and Chad's sister Chanteal is having a boy in December...so we are hoping we have a boy too. Cross your fingers! We should be able to find out what we are having in September. We haven't talked about names yet and we decided we would wait until we know what gender it is. We our also curious to see if the baby comes early or late...we have a lot of birthdays in February already. Sadly I have been really sick for 2 1/2 weeks now and have lost 5 pounds. My doctor gave me some medicine but some days it works and some days it doesn't.(But mostly when she doesn't take it.. :) ) Once I throw up from eating something it makes me not want it again for awhile. So even though we have more food in the house that we have ever had, I feel like there is nothing to eat. I have to eat something every couple hours so I am running out of new things to eat haha. Chad has been so great the last couple weeks! He makes dinner now and asks me if he can get me anything. I feel so bad that he makes dinner every night and I haven't even done the dishes in weeks. I can't wait til the sickness passes and I can enjoy food again, clean my house, and do my make up. Don't get me wrong, I love being pregnant, but I can't wait for the fun stuff. Finding out what we are having and feeling the baby kick. Well enough about that...here are a couple pictures we took to tell the family we are pregnant :)

Girls night!!

Last week Chad told me that he was going to be going to fathers and son the next weekend and that I was going to be home alone for two nights :/ I'm okay alone but I just get super bored. I decided that this was the perfect time to do a girls night! Chad ended up having basketball games late Thursday night and so he didn't end up going. I still had my girls night and Chad went and hung out with his brother Colton. It was so nice to talk and hang out with my friends! It had been awhile...when you are married you don't hang out with your single friends very often haha. We stayed up talking and laughing like old times until about 1:30. I was planning on taking a couple pictures but didn't get around to it...maybe next time.

I'm not a teenager anymore!!!

My 20th birthday was on Monday! It's been a joke between me and Chad that his wife isn't a teenager anymore haha. So last Sunday my mom let me pick dinner and desert since I wasn't going to be there the Sunday right before my birthday, it was so yummy. This last Sunday I also got to pick dinner and desert at Chad's parents, also super yummy. My birthday started with Chad making me breakfast :) he is such a good cook. Then we both had to go to work but Chad brought me lunch around 1 and relieved me. With all the free time he had just given me I decided to go shopping with some of the gift cards I had just got for my birthday. I didn't have a ton of luck (I never do when it comes to shopping...i'm so bad at shopping haha) but I did manage to find a super cute pair of heels. I had to get home after shopping because the bug guy was coming to spray (we were a day too late, Chad and I both got lots of bug bites the night before). When Chad got home we waited til the bug guy left and then headed off on our date. We saw the Avengers...such an awesome movie! Chad surprised me and invited our good friends Perry and Emily :) After the movie we all went to dinner at Oreganos and had such a good time talking and laughing. This was the best birthday :) I got so spoiled and I appreciate everything Chad did for me and everything I got. I got a picture of some of the things I got but not in the picture, I got some super cute shirts and some money that is in a safe saving spot.

Fossil Springs :)

Fossil Springs is one of my favorite places to hike because you hike next to a creek and if it gets too hot you can always jump in the water. I also love the water falls, the clear water, and the green scenery. Chad has never been so I planned a trip for us to go with some of our friends. We were planning on heading up early in the morning so Cody, Krystal, and Zayden stayed the night at our house. We woke up early and made breakfast and then pack up and got ready to go. We had fun on the way up laughing and joking with each other. The hike in was about thirty minutes and then we played in the water and jumped off cliff for a couple hours. After a lot afternoon of fun in the sun, we headed back home. On the way home we stopped in Anthem to shop and eat pizza. I didn't bring my camera but we got a few pictures from our phones.
