Big D's Birthday!

Me and Chad went through the birthdays in our family's one night and laughed at how many birthdays were the same or close. Our nephew Dakota and my brother-in-law Phil both had birthdays yesterday on the 20th. We also have two birthdays on the 23rd & two on the 24th of December. We are going to have some crazy busy holidays every year...twice the fun! Dakota had his birthday party on Saturday so his friends could come. I had to babysit on Saturday so we were a little late but I still managed to get some pictures :) It was so fun to see him with all of his friends and to get to hang out with the family.

"Settlers of Catan"

Growing up my parents would always play a game called "Settlers of Catan" with their best friends Todd and Tiffany Crandell. We would play as a family every once in a while but us kids didn't like it too much because it was a long game. Well a couple of weeks ago we played it at my parents house...it had been so long since I had played and I forgot how. The first game we played me and Chad were so confused and didn't like it very much. A couple of games later we were hooked and didn't want to stop playing. Me and Chad bought the game a couple of days later and took it to the cabin with us to introduce it to Chad's family. Chanteal bought it as soon as we got back in town and now we play it with them too! Every Sunday at my parents house we either played the marble game or ticket to ride...now it's always settlers! We have started getting together for a game night every other week (the week we aren't over for Sunday dinner) so we all get to see each other at least once a week. We had Cody and Krystal come over one Friday night to play...we ended up playing til 2 a.m. and then they stayed the night. That was a lot of fun because then the boys played Fifa while Zayden watched. Gotta love family time! :)

Married Life...

I know I haven't posted anything in a while but me and Chad haven't been taking any pictures. We have been working, decorating our house, and just enjoying being married. I am so lucky to have him as my husband, he treats me like a princess! I am so grateful for him and everything we have. We spend a lot of time watching our favorite TV shows, we watch so many it's hard to keep up. If anyone is looking for a good show to watch I would recommend Hawaii 5O, Vampire Diaries, White Collar, Revenge, Secret Circle, Person of Interest, Ringer, the Mentalist, and the Office. We through THREW (I didn't know I was gonna be a part time English teacher but between Rocky and My perfect lil wife, I almost have a full time job now! I love it that they can't spell tho :) ) a Halloween party on Monday but I forgot to take pictures. We had a lot of fun playing games and catching up with all of our friends. I can't wait for this holiday season :) We will definitely work on take pictures. Here are some pictures of what we have done to the house so far...

We got Hitched!!

Me and Chad were sealed for time and all eternity in the Mesa, Arizona Temple! September 9th, 2011 was the happiest day in mine and Chad's new life together. I know that will change when we have little rug rats but for now we are the happiest people in the world! The day we got married was so beautiful and nice outside, but we were all crossing our fingers that the reception that night wouldn't get stormed out. The reception was so nice and I want to thank everyone that helped put it together. Even though it did rain a little and got a little windy, it was still nice and a lot of fun. Me and Chad did not go on a honeymoon after we got married but we plan on going on one in the spring. We did go to a resort for the weekend where they upgraded us to their nicest Villa suit! It was pretty sweet. Now we are just working and living our life together :)
