Girls night!!

Last week Chad told me that he was going to be going to fathers and son the next weekend and that I was going to be home alone for two nights :/ I'm okay alone but I just get super bored. I decided that this was the perfect time to do a girls night! Chad ended up having basketball games late Thursday night and so he didn't end up going. I still had my girls night and Chad went and hung out with his brother Colton. It was so nice to talk and hang out with my friends! It had been awhile...when you are married you don't hang out with your single friends very often haha. We stayed up talking and laughing like old times until about 1:30. I was planning on taking a couple pictures but didn't get around to it...maybe next time.

I'm not a teenager anymore!!!

My 20th birthday was on Monday! It's been a joke between me and Chad that his wife isn't a teenager anymore haha. So last Sunday my mom let me pick dinner and desert since I wasn't going to be there the Sunday right before my birthday, it was so yummy. This last Sunday I also got to pick dinner and desert at Chad's parents, also super yummy. My birthday started with Chad making me breakfast :) he is such a good cook. Then we both had to go to work but Chad brought me lunch around 1 and relieved me. With all the free time he had just given me I decided to go shopping with some of the gift cards I had just got for my birthday. I didn't have a ton of luck (I never do when it comes to shopping...i'm so bad at shopping haha) but I did manage to find a super cute pair of heels. I had to get home after shopping because the bug guy was coming to spray (we were a day too late, Chad and I both got lots of bug bites the night before). When Chad got home we waited til the bug guy left and then headed off on our date. We saw the Avengers...such an awesome movie! Chad surprised me and invited our good friends Perry and Emily :) After the movie we all went to dinner at Oreganos and had such a good time talking and laughing. This was the best birthday :) I got so spoiled and I appreciate everything Chad did for me and everything I got. I got a picture of some of the things I got but not in the picture, I got some super cute shirts and some money that is in a safe saving spot.

Fossil Springs :)

Fossil Springs is one of my favorite places to hike because you hike next to a creek and if it gets too hot you can always jump in the water. I also love the water falls, the clear water, and the green scenery. Chad has never been so I planned a trip for us to go with some of our friends. We were planning on heading up early in the morning so Cody, Krystal, and Zayden stayed the night at our house. We woke up early and made breakfast and then pack up and got ready to go. We had fun on the way up laughing and joking with each other. The hike in was about thirty minutes and then we played in the water and jumped off cliff for a couple hours. After a lot afternoon of fun in the sun, we headed back home. On the way home we stopped in Anthem to shop and eat pizza. I didn't bring my camera but we got a few pictures from our phones.
