Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving day me and Chad had big plans in the morning...I was going to go hiking and Chad was going to play football. I guess our bodies knew we needing to rest up for Black Friday shopping because we slept in til 10:00. We spent the afternoon with his family eating and playing with the kids. Everything was so yummy and the company was even better! Then we headed over to my parents house where we spent the evening eating and playing Settlers. Me and Chad got our butts kicked and didn't win one game but we still had fun. At 9:00 we all headed over to Walmart to try and catch the Black Friday deals on video games. When we got there everything was already torn through and gone. Chad managed to grab some Playstation games for him and some of his cousins. We got in line and checked out before 10...that Walmart was cheating. We didn't get the Xbox Kinect games we wanted so we decided to try one more Walmart. The Walmart closest to our house was way more packed then the other one but they hadn't let anything get touched till 10. I managed to work my way up the game line and get the two games we wanted...surprisingly there were a bunch of them left. We made it home at 10:45...that's the fastest I have ever gotten done with Black Friday shopping. Friday morning we met up with Chad's brother Colton to help him pick a TV at Costco and then we did a little more shopping ourselves. I am so thankful to have two wonderful families to spend the holidays with. I couldn't have asked for better families then these! :) We love you guys!!

Big D's Birthday!

Me and Chad went through the birthdays in our family's one night and laughed at how many birthdays were the same or close. Our nephew Dakota and my brother-in-law Phil both had birthdays yesterday on the 20th. We also have two birthdays on the 23rd & two on the 24th of December. We are going to have some crazy busy holidays every year...twice the fun! Dakota had his birthday party on Saturday so his friends could come. I had to babysit on Saturday so we were a little late but I still managed to get some pictures :) It was so fun to see him with all of his friends and to get to hang out with the family.

"Settlers of Catan"

Growing up my parents would always play a game called "Settlers of Catan" with their best friends Todd and Tiffany Crandell. We would play as a family every once in a while but us kids didn't like it too much because it was a long game. Well a couple of weeks ago we played it at my parents house...it had been so long since I had played and I forgot how. The first game we played me and Chad were so confused and didn't like it very much. A couple of games later we were hooked and didn't want to stop playing. Me and Chad bought the game a couple of days later and took it to the cabin with us to introduce it to Chad's family. Chanteal bought it as soon as we got back in town and now we play it with them too! Every Sunday at my parents house we either played the marble game or ticket to ride...now it's always settlers! We have started getting together for a game night every other week (the week we aren't over for Sunday dinner) so we all get to see each other at least once a week. We had Cody and Krystal come over one Friday night to play...we ended up playing til 2 a.m. and then they stayed the night. That was a lot of fun because then the boys played Fifa while Zayden watched. Gotta love family time! :)

Married Life...

I know I haven't posted anything in a while but me and Chad haven't been taking any pictures. We have been working, decorating our house, and just enjoying being married. I am so lucky to have him as my husband, he treats me like a princess! I am so grateful for him and everything we have. We spend a lot of time watching our favorite TV shows, we watch so many it's hard to keep up. If anyone is looking for a good show to watch I would recommend Hawaii 5O, Vampire Diaries, White Collar, Revenge, Secret Circle, Person of Interest, Ringer, the Mentalist, and the Office. We through THREW (I didn't know I was gonna be a part time English teacher but between Rocky and My perfect lil wife, I almost have a full time job now! I love it that they can't spell tho :) ) a Halloween party on Monday but I forgot to take pictures. We had a lot of fun playing games and catching up with all of our friends. I can't wait for this holiday season :) We will definitely work on take pictures. Here are some pictures of what we have done to the house so far...
